The Protego BE/AD is a compact end-of-line flame arrester designed to prevent atmospheric deflagrations from traveling back into non-pressurized vent lines of vessels or plant equipment. It’s ideal for short-duration vapor release situations and features a protective weather hood and modular flame filter unit.

ATEX compliant, meets EN ISO 16852; other approvals on request
Used on vent lines of small, non-pressurized vessels across industries like petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical. Best for systems that discharge vapor briefly and need protection against atmospheric flame propagation.
Designed for short-duration discharge of vapours in explosion groups IIA–IIC. Not for endurance burning applications.
Shields non-pressurized systems from atmospheric deflagration
Modular FLAMEFILTER® enables rapid maintenance
Weather-resistant design prevents clogging and damage
Efficient and cost-effective spare parts and lifecycle maintenance
Flexible for varied explosion groups and certified per ATEX/EN ISO standards
Special material options: Hastelloy
Higher operating temperature designs (on request)
Alternate threading or custom connection types
Additional certifications (national/international) as required
From forging and casting to machining, assembly, and testing — every step is managed under one roof to ensure consistent quality, faster lead times, and zero compromise.
